Beech Leaf Shawl

This graceful lace knitting shawl features the beautiful beech leaf lace pattern and is designed for two weights of yarn, a fingering or laceweight.

Stitches are cast on for the bottom edge and rows become shorter as decreases at the centre panel and side edges create a triangular shape. Lace is worked on one side only in stocking stitch, except for lines of faggotting. At the end, stitches are picked up around all edges and a simple garter picot-point lace edging is worked. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced lace knitters.
