Blossom Scarf to Stole

Blossoms and ruffles combine in these cheerfully feminine scarves and stoles. Customize this versatile design to five different widths and any length you choose, from a shorter and elegantly ruffled scarf to a large and luxuriously cosy wrap. The easy garter stitch lace motif is fun to knit either way.

All versions begin with a provisional cast on at the centre in the desired width, and are then worked to the desired length. A ruffle and delicate picot cast off finishes the end. Then stitches are picked up at the provisional cast on and the second half is worked. This is a garter stitch design. Stole is shown in Size 5 and scarf is shown in Size 1. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate lace knitters.
