Lacy Spencer

This lacy spencer cardigan will flatter you in jeans, skirts or a special dress. The yoked bodice encircles the shoulders while the body flares gracefully over the hips. A lace edging adds extra femininity.

The yoke is knit first from the bottom edge up to the neck, then stitches are picked up around the bottom of the yoke. The body is worked down toward the hem, increasing in width to create the flared shape. A lace edging is added last. The cardigan can easily be made longer (more yarn may be required). Sample is shown in Size 1. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate knitters.
