Persian Mystique ScarvesThe lace knitting leaf motif surrounded by lacy filigree, suggestive of the beautiful screens and grillwork of the East, evokes a feeling of “Arabian Nights” romance. The rectangular scarf (above) begins with a provisional cast on for the first edging, after which it is knit to the other end and finished with I-cord. The triangular scarf (below) begins by casting on at the lower edge, after which rows are decreased to create the triangular shape. I-cord finishes the top edge. Both scarves are worked in stocking stitch. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate lace knitters.
